A Little About Me

Hi, I’m Jeff Stephens. If you have landed on this page, I’m pretty sure you are just like me. You have seen the awesomeness that goes along with smart homes and you are curious and want to try automating your own casa.

I started Connected Castles as a way to collaborate with forward-leaning folks like yourself who can’t wait to implement the awesome technology that is taking over the world.

I have over 20 years of experience in the computer industry (pre-internet even!) and currently serve as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for a government consulting firm.

I’m also batshit busy with the struggle of balancing a full-time career with family. So, I only have so much time to dedicate to turning my house into my personal assistant.

I try to share my love for technology and innovation so you gain information to help make your smart home journey just a little bit easier.

I don’t know everything and I’m not here to dictate what you have to do. I’m here simply to share my journey with you, assist however I can, and hopefully help you take one more step toward realizing your smart home dreams.
